On my common app, I selected "Math IIC" and "Math IC" for my subject tests. I then sent scores to Harvard officially.

THE PROBLEM:

Harvard now lists "Math I" and "Math II" as official, and they're still waiting for "Math I*C" and "Math IIC*" to arrive. The problem is that they never will, because I selected the wrong test for common app. Math IIC and IC haven't existed for years, because all math subject tests allow calculators.

What should I do now? Anyone have the same problem? Will Harvard still consider me even though their system probably lists my application as "incomplete"? Thanks

If they have your electronic scores, the scores you reported become irrelevant. This happened in my case; I had listed a subject with a wrong date, but once they linked my scores to my account, what I had was overwritten. So don’t worry about it.
You should call them though, if your scores take a long time getting there.

thanks for the reply
you said your scores were “overwritten”, but I don’t think that happened for me. it seems like they’re still waiting for the “C” versions of my scores.

here’s a screenshot of what’s going on…

harvard also said they can’t respond to individual problems… :/

I have the same problem. So far I’ve only got Math II and Physics subject tests, but it lists them as follows:

Math II - official
Physics - official
Math IIC - unofficial

I don’t think Math IIC exists anymore, so it doesn’t matter too much.

Alright thanks. I was just worried that because of this, my app would be labeled as incomplete and would not even be considered.

Does Harvard accept both Math I and Math II?

^
yup they accept both
