I’m currently a college sophomore (it’s my first year but I skipped freshman year) and I’m considering applying to HLS next year through their Junior Deferral Program. Has anyone here ever applied for it (successfully or not)? And if yes, would you recommend it?
@thelions Harvard just expanded the Junior Deferral Program to non-Harvard undergrads this year, so you won’t find anyone who’s done it successfully yet. I do know that Harvard (and Yale and Stanford) prefer to admit students who have work experience. Very high LSAT scores can overcome that (for Harvard at least). Also, firms who hire associates like people who are not very young.
Take the LSAT and see how you do. If you get a 172+, go for it.
