Admission results are coming out in a few weeks and I was just contacted for an interview (my first interview) next week. Is this a good or bad sign? 2 other schools that I am interested in (Columbia and Yale) have not contact me yet so is there still hope? I highly doubt location is an issue.
Interview requests have nothing to do with whether Harvard has accepted or denied your admission into the College. It’s all a geographic availability location. I think your place might be either rural where not many Harvard alumni leave in or near, or that your are in a very populous place, in which your interview would either be one out of hundreds/thousands. But at the end, interviews can only ameliorate your application.
