Has anyone been contacted about an interview, letters of rec, etc. yet? At this point, I just want to hear back from them, and haven’t gotten a thing.
@Pulliza6 ooooooh ok i misunderstood the application, then. I did complete those parts. I also haven’t been contacted about recommendations and all of that.
Me neither. One of my peers applied for this as well, and she was sent an email last Wednesday telling her no. And I still haven’t gotten anything. Not sure if this is good or bad. I saw that in previous years that kids were notified later than the date for acceptance. Which is a good thing, but I just don’t want to wait any longer.
I wish I just got some sort of response. Do some finalist go on without getting any information asked?
@melatonin17 I was wondering the same thing. I mean we thought only the finalist would see progress and somehow the other group is the one that’s receiving emails… I don’t understand!!
Maybe they’re behind schedule? At least One of us would have heard back?? Maybe they haven’t sent out next step emails yet. Trying to stay optimistic.
My friend said in her email when they told her no that they said over 2,000 people applied this year. So maybe they’re behind.
