I noticed that in the Exclusive Common App user list Harvard is no longer listed?

Does this mean that next year harvard will have both their own app
and the common app (like Princeton)?

anybody in the know ....

There must be somebody out there who visited Harvard recently
who should know more about this ....?

Does it matter?

apparently it does matter according to at least the hernandez book
on college application.....

...i have no hard stats for example on folks who apply to Pton
and use Common App V Pton App who are comparable......

Don't believe everything you read in books.

Common app with their supplement and something called the Universal app ....
seems to be the two types of app Harvard is using for 2008.

universities sign a contract saying they give equal weight to common app or their own app.

but it's like signing ocntract saying they dont discriminate against race...lol
mentally it perhaps still affects just like a urm does.
when 2 similar applicants are going for one spot, they might take the one using the university's own app.
probably a very minor thing though, less than AA, sports recruitment, legacy...etc

This will explain it
