These are my two favs. I have to decide SCEA at Stanford or ED at Harvard. I prob like Harvard more but I am legacy at Stanford and worrying about losing it by applying reg… What do you think?
Stats: Top 5%,
good ecs,
2300 SAT,
800,790, 790 SAT IIs,
13 APS, 6 5’s, all others SR. year.

Intended major is int'l relations and political science

Easy choice. Harvard.

Both Schools are SCEA, no ED.

Based on my daughter's experience, I'd say that with your stats and a legacy status you stand a decent chance even in the RD round at Stanford. So if I were you I'd put the SCEA bet on whichever school you want the most and not worry about "losing" it.

I'm not sure about Stanford's political science program - could be strong; I just don't know. But the Kennedy School of Government is world famous.
