So I was accepted into Harvard and The Wharton School at U-Penn and I am looking to go into IB or consulting. This is the hardest decision of my life and I was hoping to get some input/advice. Thanks in advance.

Same dilemma as you. How about for entrepreneurship?

See: [Fields of Concentration Handbook for Students 2011-2012](<a href=“HarvardKey - Harvard University Authentication Service”>HarvardKey - Harvard University Authentication Service)

Harvard DOES NOT grant a degree in business, while Wharton does. The choice, it would seem, comes down to what other concentration at Harvard would you be interested in pursuing.

Or what city you want to live in. Philly v Boston.

Or if you want to look for new housing every year. (UPenn does not guarantee housing beyond freshman year v. Harvard housing is guaranteed for all 4 years.)

Do give this a read: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-pennsylvania/902457-wharton-mythbusters.html

I do realize Harvard does not grant a degree in business. I was going to major in Economics if I decided to go there. I guess my real comparison is: Harvard Economics degree vs. Wharton Business degree

^^^ There are a bunch of CC threads on that topic: <a href=“economics at harvard vs business at wharton - Google Search”>economics at harvard vs business at wharton - Google Search;

I’m making this decision too! I much prefer studying liberal arts though…so I feel that Harvard would ultimately be better for me than Wharton. I’m not sure though, I will be visiting both schools in April
