I have gotten into both schools, visited both, and liked both in terms of general atmosphere (with an edge to Yale for their "feel," their college system, and school pride, although I much prefer Harvard's location). I'm interested in studying theatre in undergrad (I know Harvard has no theatre concentration, but I've been assured that it would be possible to create one using combinations of acting/playwrighting/directing/literature courses), but I'm also interested in pursuing a pre-med track (I also got into WashU's 8 year medical program, though their opportunities in theatre are quite limited and I don't want to lock in to med school just yet). I want to do research, probably in neuroscience (which is what I'm doing right now). I realize that is an odd combination, and I'm just searching for advice on which would suit both of those needs with a slight edge to the importance of theatre as a focus of undergraduate study. Also note that Yale's active LGBT community is something that really appeals to me, though I know the Boston are has quite a vibrant community in general.

I'd really prefer if this thread didn't devolve into the usual Harvard vs. Yale bickering that so often happens on CC. I'd prefer relatively objective answers, unless you can helpfully articulate the intangibles.
