Harvard Parties

So.... is the reputation fo' rizzle? How crazy are those Harvard parties? Or is it just a group of nerds getting together to discuss philosophy and politics and the like?

Seriously.

i'm going to request that no one respond to this thread due to its ignorance and utter stupidity.

Wait...I'm dying to know too.

If I want to spend my time and money on applying to Harvard I have a right to know what kind of parties happen there. :)

Yea, Harvard parties are 100% nerd-fests where a bunch of socially inept geeks get together and just talk about their course assignments. In fact, even touching alcohol...no, even SMELLING it results in instant social ostracism.

While I agree with Token89 on the OP, this article from the Crimson was just too on point.

<a href="http://www.thecrimson.com/Article.aspx?ref=520280%5B/url%5D">http://www.thecrimson.com/Article.aspx?ref=520280</a></p>

Harvard's social scene is whatever you want it to be. If you want to party then you can (final clubs, bars, house parties, or club events) and if you want to do other things you can do them too. When it comes down to it, drinking is drinking, and dancing is dancing, no matter which campus you're on.
