harvard personal statement

<p>I know this has already been answered in a thread somewhere, but I can't find it. On the Harvard transfer application (not the supplament) there is a spot right underneath the short answer spot that says "PERSONAL STATEMENT Optional for Transfer Students" What did you guys put in here? Anything? Can you write 'Please see attatchment' and write about anything? Or is number 19 on the supplement (why Harvard?) the substitute for this?<br>
Also, I'm barely computer savvy enough to know how to use cc, so is there any way I can type my app (not essays, the actual application) or did everyone just handwrite the basic info like name, work experience, address, school name, etc.</p>

<p>i had written a personal statement for yale that i thought was unique and demonstrative of my character. since i didn't cover my character much in the why harvard, i just attached it and said please see attached.</p>

<p>and yeah, you can use their writable pdf's. however, you can't edit them once they're saved (which really ****ed me off).</p>
