Harvard Pre-College/Secondary Program, UPenn, etc.

Hi everyone!

I am looking into academic programs for the summer of 2019.
I have been searching around for programs and came across Harvard’s Pre-College program which is 2 weeks and also their Secondary program which is 7 weeks.
There are also other summer programs offered by other prestigious colleges such as UPenn, Princeton, etc.

I do not mind the length of the program, and if there is anyone who has any experience with these mentioned programs or any others, please let me know.

Do these programs have any significant impact on college admission? What if the program belongs to the college you wish to apply to…Will being admitted and being successful in the program make you a better candidate?

Simply by attending and compared to any other program? No. Don’t attend a college’s pre-college program thinking it will help for admissions. Most say on the site that it won’t. Here is what Harvard says:
