Harvard- Prep school matriculation

Which prep schools send the most people to Harvard University?

Is Blair one of them?

Blair has great matriculation at Columbia, Brown, Penn, Cornell and Dartmouth. I’m assuming you are ivy-focused. Some years they have Harvard-bound students and some not.

Blair probably isn’t in the top 5 schools, but you could get into Harvard from there.

It changes year to year, depends what kind of students schools have, as well as what the colleges want.
Andover sent a whopping 23 to Harvard in 2007, and 9 this year.

I looked at some college information from Blair. It looks like one or two might go to Harvard each year. There may be some years that no one goes, but that was not the case with the limited information I have. Blair has great college matriculation, but I would not classify it as a feeder school for Harvard.

I realize that Harvard has outstanding name recognition on an international level. Other than that, is there a reason that you want to go to Harvard? A few years from now, you might take a close look at those reasons and discover other colleges or universities that offer what you want. There are countless routes to success.

As you look over prep school matriculation at Harvard, keep in mind that you should also take a look at graduating class size. If my memory is correct, I think Milton has high Harvard matriculation. Some attribute this to legacy and Harvard prof parents.

Good luck in your search!

It’s interesting to note that many schools saw a dramatic drop this year in admissions to Harvard and Princeton compared to a typical year…the elimination of early decision has changed a lot.
