Harvard RD 2014 Thread

YALE :frowning: sadfaceee

CAMBRIDGE!!! Iā€™ve already been pooled there though, and they stop pulling people from the pool and accepting them, for the most part, around the 16th, so itā€™s probably pretty much over for me there. And if I got into a college I donā€™t like so much, I might not go to Cambridge. But if Christā€™s College fished me back, oh, love.

Since Iā€™m halfway to reject from Cam, letā€™s say MIT! Because then I can go on exchange for a year to CAMBRIDGE!!! (Yaleā€™s awesome too though!)

Columbiaā€¦Wonderful city. (Mostly) Nice people. Itā€™s a world of discovery. I really loved the in-class structure. Honestly, in the undergraduate aspect, Columbia ties with Harvardā€¦

MIT. Assuming that I got into every college I applied to, including Harvard, the answer is still MIT.

Heck yes! I was researching study abroad programs in MIT, and this stood out to me the most. If I do go to MIT, Iā€™m definitely trying to go to Cambridge.

It would be a super close tie between Harvard and Brown. Iā€™m so bad at making decisionsā€¦this would be so hard!!

Is brokescholars a legitimate scholarship website?

Columbia, no doubt.

If not Harvard, I donā€™t really know. It gets really muddled. I like Yale, but Iā€™m still sore over the deferral. I like Princeton, but the deflation policy makes it seem like it could get nasty competitive (I donā€™t mind competition as long as itā€™s fair, but it seems like that sort of pressure might get to people). And I like MIT, but if Iā€™m worried they party too much.

Columbia. Columbia is actually my first choice, nothing against Harvard though.

@ motions: yes it is

I believe Iā€™m officially done, now that my interview is out of the wayā€¦ I am feeling fairly confident about what I have presented.

I dont like the eating club system at princeton

^ I like it. I ended up not applying there because they donā€™t have a major Iā€™m pretty sure about, but everything about Princeton seemed cool. Especially the squirrels.

How many of you are applying just because youā€™re asians/whites with high grades and attracted to the lure of the name?

^i could ask you the same question

^^How many people go on the harvard forums to ask moronic questions? Apparently, at least oneā€¦

@DMOC - I donā€™t think anyone is going to go to Harvard solely for the name. I mean, that would be ignoring the great research they have, the amazing undergraduate experience, the superb interdisciplinary studies and so forth. But of course, the name is nice.

@motion12345 - HAHAH :)

I

Iā€™ve already done my decidingā€¦

If I got into Harvard, I wouldnā€™t even open the rest of my acceptance letters/e-mailsā€¦

Same here jokesbg779. If Harvard said yes, Iā€™d easily forget everyone else.
