Harvard RD Class of 2020 Applicant Thread

Now that early season has concluded, it is time to work on regular decision applications.

Who’s applying to Harvard for regular decision?

Me!!

I am

Think so!

I am!! :stuck_out_tongue: What are you guys gonna do for the supplement essay (if you are writing it at all)?

I am!

My time is up, my time is now!! Harvard class of 2020!!!

@nuimancel I’m gonna do mine on an educational experience. What about you?

I know my chances are low but I’m applying anyway because it’s cool to get mail from Harvard, even if it is a rejection letter.

@AmericaAbroad I was thinking of using one of my Stanford supplements but I’m not sure. I’m the mostly proud of my roommate essay but I feel that Harvard would be like, “Oh, a person who applied to Stanford.”

Who else is applying?? There’s gotta be more people!!! :-bd

Already submitted my application.

@Nedcone Woahhh already? I feel like I would turn my apps in on the day of the deadline lol

Just submitted my application although my ACT (35) and SAT Subject (MII: 800, Bio: 760) scores haven’t been received yet :(. I wrote my supplement about what I wanted to do with my degree (Applied for Engineering BTW)

I’m still getting over the emotional turmoil of submitting my ED to Amherst. I’m so anxious! So not ready to start RD applications let alone submit.

hello friends xD

@nuimancel I’ve been done since late August and spent time revising since then haha.

i am too! @nuimancel i know what you mean; I really loved my letter to roommate essay for stanford and expanded a bit on it, but I’m a bit hesitant to use it

Here!!! Me!!! < wildly waves hand and knocks off the glasses of the next person :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll apply too. I figure having a 0.0001% chance of getting in is better than a 0% chance from not applying.

I guess paying $75+ to get rejected is the cool thing now, so count me in!

@meaa7130 It’s a once-in-a-lifetime $75+ rejection letter though! I’ll probably hang my rejection on the wall or something… getting a rejection letter is better than not getting anything at all! Also, college rejections don’t happen often in life, so I guess the experience of one is a rare occurrence as well (although they all do happen on pretty much the same day…). :stuck_out_tongue:
