Anyone here from europe?
Hi All! I’m new on cc. I know this is kind of dumb to ask but When is Ivy Day?
March 31st
@just123098 March 31st
I’m just praying. I’d rather get rejected everywhere else but be admitted to Harvard. Wouldn’t want to take anyone’s well deserved spot in other schools.
Has anyone received any emails this week or last week from Harvard?
Unless they are missing anything, usually Harvard does NOT send out any kind of communications about decision to its applicants after March 15th (in forms of calls or likely letters) as an agreement to the Ivy Day. However, they might tell you that you are REJECTED before March 31st (Ivy Day) but I don’t think they’ll do it.
Who’s excited for Ivy Day? I think I’m more anxious myself, but fingers crossed!
@Ayieee Do your financial aid docs show on the checklist? I applied for aid and everything is marked as received, but none of my aid stuff is on the list
@Steak99 DW about JHU, from what I was able to gather, it was really difficult for those with international standings this year, and I know a couple REALLY qualified people who got rejected. I’m from Canada and I got rejected there so I know the feeling.
@ThriveToSurvive I am occupying the time left with naps.
@reach2020 Unfortunately, Harvard doesn’t have tracking so it’s not on the list
More info here https://college.harvard.edu/financial-aid/applying-aid/prospective-students
@jasishere thanks!
@reach2020 They show underneath “Processed Documents” but not under “Required Documents”. Under “Required Documents” it just says “All required documents have been submitted and are processed” in green.
Did you get idoc requests from any other colleges?
Anybody from Iowa?
@Ayieee Yeah from two others, JHU (rejected) and Harvard. My portal doesn’t show any financial aid docs though, only the required ones.
@reach2020 where do you see the required documents? I don’t see anything only that I applied for
@ammoopi I’m referring to the checklist
@m22boys “illegal aliens” ??? Are you Native American? No? Then please refrain from using those words in order to describe PEOPLE.
Native Americans didn’t originate in America either tbh
But ignore @m22boys he says all sorts of ridiculous stuff. I remember his classic “if you can’t afford the full cost of attendance of your son’s school, you didn’t work hard enough in life”.
