<p>How can Harvard tell these students that they don’t need to apply and waste their 60$ because they have absolutely no chance?? What would the standards be to be able to apply? A certain SAT/ GPA threshold? Some people with lower than 3.0 GPA and 1800 SAT can get into Harvard if they are the president’s daughter or the top athletic recruit in the country. </p>

<p>These no-chancers are wasting their own money if they have a 1500 GPA, since its their own stupid fault to apply with 0 chance not Harvard’s.</p>

<p>^No they couldn’t…not the athletic recruit I don’t think. Doesn’t their AI have to be within one standard deviation of the AI of the admitted class (or is that collectively?)?</p>
