Harvard Restrictive Early Action - Subject Tests

Hello all,

I’m applying to Harvard under their restrictive early action program and sent in my application last week. I had taken the subject tests in October and although I was satisfied with my Math II score, I wanted to retake physics (got a 730). So I only submitted my Math II score and signed up for the November subject tests, hoping to score better in Physics.

Yesterday I took the test and am not sure I did better. I don’t know which score to submit because the November scores get to me on November 15, and I would have to use the free score report before then to send it to Harvard. Therefore, I would be sending it blindly, without knowing if I did better or worse. Now, I don’t know if I should send both scores or just send the 730.

Does anyone know if Harvard looks at the better score of the two or will showing I took the test twice reduce my chances?

I’d appreciate any help on the matter.

They’ll look at your higher score.
