<p>I am considering Harvard next year and am very interested in the rugby team. I have no Rugby experience but have an athletic background. I'm wondering about 2 things:</p>

<li><p>Is it tough to make the team? Do I need to have a lot of experience to play?</p></li>
<li><p>What's the time commitment like? Do athletes feel like it's tough to succeed in school while playing?</p></li>

<p>There are no half-measure’s with this game - It’s a combat sport. Rugby’s very tough. But for character building, team-work, camaraderie it’s the best game on earth. Good luck!</p>
<p>I think that many, if not most, of the players on the woman’s team never played before. Like getalifemom said, they’re very welcoming of new players.</p>
