Ok woah, I did not know this. Sent my scores on December 5th :S

EDIT: Ok this is weird.

On the CB website, I went on “SAT sent scores history” and it says:

The following scores were sent on December 5th:
lists the scores
The following scores were sent on November 30th:
And here it lists the same scores as the ones sent on December 5th.

I seem to have just made that deadline, but it appears that CB sent my scores twice
I’m hoping I didn’t pay double the fee. Is anyone else getting this?

Sorry Sci-Fry, I don’t mean to be a jerk but please don’t drive this thread off-topic.

I haven’t had any problems. It should list the same scores, but it should have them sent to different schools.

Honestly, I had no idea about this deadline (and wouldn’t have) until I had happened to check that page today (which is the only place where I found it). I’m not going to claim that it’s not there, but it’s certainly not obvious. I’m sending an e-mail and will call them on Jan 4th to see what the deal is, but if anyone knows anything more about this, please post here.

I did some reading on this, and from what I understand December 1st is only a priority deadline. It doesn’t affect your admissions chances, but it means that it’s easier for them to arrange an interview etc.

Since Harvard even accepts January scores, I don’t think it would matter too much if you sent scores after December 1st. It’s more a case of making life easier for them.
