DOES HARVARD CALL OR OTHERWISE CHECK FIRST QUARTER GRADES. RIGHT NOW I HAVE 2 B's, BUT I KNOW I WILL HAVE AN A AVERAGE AT THE SEMESTERS END. PLUS QUARTER GRADES ARE JUST TO LET YOU KNOW HOW YOUR DOING, NOT, I REPEAT, NOT A FINAL JUDGMENT ON PERFORMANCE. I FIND IT ABSURD THAT HARVARD MIGHT USE THAT INFORMATION ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY WILL LATER CALL FOR A MID YEAR REPORT.

DOES HARVARD CALL OR CHECK QUARTER GRADES? IF SO WILL IT IMPACT BORDERLINE OR NOT SUPERSTAR CANDIDATES?

At my school at least, you elect to send your first quarter grades, but do not need to. Essentially, they won't be looking for it, but obviously your mid-year report is required. If you have good grades, then make a point to send it along, if you don't, don't worry about it, just buckle down second marking period.
