<p>People are always saying on this board that the only way to be a shoo-in for Harvard is to cure cancer.
It looks like one high school student might have finally done it.</p>
<p>Lol. She was a shoo-in long before winning Siemens IMO; I’ve gone to her house once (we go to the same school) and I remember there being multiple awards for other major competitions as well. Two grand prizes at Intel if I recall correctly.</p>
<p>I had a h.s. classmate who wrote a paper about attacking cancer cells’ ability to consume protein when he was in the 10th grade. He went to Harvard.</p>
