So I got my housing assignment... Thayer Hall, room 306!

I noticed someone else has room 313 I think, so that's kind of close

random question- but are we supposed to bring towels... or are they provided?

you bring your own towels ... although im sure you could rent some, along with all the bedding.

Roxie, being OCD and such, and doing my research, I found this out. Harvard classes during term time always begin 7 minutes late to allow people time to move from building to building. For that reason, taking back-to-back clases is okay.

However, it should be noted that many of the summer profs are not regular Harvard teaching faculty, so I'm not sure if this nuance will hold this summer. I'd say you're safe though, depending on who you have. One of your courses is in Harvard Hall, one is in Emerson; they're not terribly close to each other, but it's better than other situations you could be in. The good news is that they're both in the Yard.

I'd say you're safe. Best of luck.

Le poisson bleu: you bring your own towels unless you're doing the linen service.

My name is Papa, no kidding. I'm from Kentucky. E34 in Canaday, and Antro and Edu, anyone who knows about textbooks for that class, help would be appreciated.

check your course on this site

Wow, I was in Canaday E31 my freshman year. The room across from us, Canaday E34, is a HUGE room, the guys who lived there were actually 3 athletes, an African-American dude and a theater guy. It was quite the arrangement.

rukun, my course isn't listed with a syllabus. Hmmm... I don't think I fit in the other room. I'm brown, not black, definitely not an actor, and as for sports, I play baseball, football and golf, and I'm only all-state at golf. Maybe they are mixing it up this year.

I'm thinking about switching into a intro to philosophy. Anybody know about that class?

Anyone here in grays hall?
I'm taking Writing and Literature and Biology of Cell Division/Cancer
Anyone im me itll be cool to know someone before getting there- im kinda nervous!

DYING to meet someone taking the books of hours seminar. anyone? anyone?

our syllabus is so confusing, i don't know what books i need. any reason i shouldn't get them from the library? [any loving soul interested in lending a helping hand could check out the books of hours syllabus and get back to me on any ideas of which books i need. it's pretty sketchy, but i think i get it...thx]

I looked at that syllabus. It did look crazy. Surely they don't want you to have every book.

My name is Meredith, I'm from Dallas, and will be taking Writing and Lit and Principles of Genetics. Who else is staying in Canaday?
