<p>No offense, but haven't you seen the other 100 threads about this exact same article? It's been done to death...</p>
<p>im pretty we agreed this was because most students go into harvard thinking that it would be perfect, and find out it isnt.</p>
<p>Or the way they got in was by focussing so much on getting ahead that they never learned to respond to their feelings, and do the things that make them content. So they would be just as unhappy at a place known for happy students, but they would not be at Harvard.</p>
<p>Yeah, Harvard probably gets more of the hardcore gunner types than others, simply because the gunner types aim for the most prestigious school (i.e., Harvard).</p>
<p>Now, just because these socially retarded folk are unhappy, it doesn't mean that the rest of the school is. </p>
<p>Besides, the variations in scores aren't that staggering either, and since DIFFERENT student bodies/samples are rating DIFFERENT schools, it's a pretty useless measure to compare schools with. It was intended for use by the individual colleges to find out how they can improve the school, not for comparisons among different schools.</p>
