Hi, I was wondering how many characters are available for the Supplement - I cannot find this information anywhere in the CommonApplication. Shall I write a page or is that too much?

And, also, I chose this topic
- Travel or living experiences in other countries

You think my exchange year abroad in Dominican Republic could represent an interesting essay?

(sorry for any mistakes, I'm Italian, and I'm really looking for anyone willing to help me!)

I called the admissions office and they said that you could submit 3-4 essays maximum. I’m submitting 4 independent ‘research’ papers that I wrote in my spare time (I’m gonna be a philosophy major btw) to hopefully counteract not being in the top 10% of my class (11th % lol). But yea, just don’t do it.

You can call the admissions office and ask. The guy who answered me said that he wouldn’t recommend putting more than 3 or 4 essays, and that was it. I would give you more info if I was sure that the info I would give you was right =/. I would recommend just calling the admissions office and asking.

My D2, a readaholic, had a ridiculously-long list of books she’d read for pleasure in the previous year that she included in the supplement a couple years ago. It maxed out the supplement block character limit, but it was four pages long printed out and just the last half-dozen or so titles didn’t fit.
