I've been following the Harvard women's swim team. While they have some fast girls, there seems to be a lack of depth. I am a very good swimmer (not as fast as Harvard's fastest girls but faster than some of their less accomplished girls). Does anyone know anything about how Harvard recruits its swim team? I've written the coach a few times but I've never received an answer. If you're not quite good enough to qualify as a recruited athlete, how do you get the coach's attention? Thanks.

recruiting is a tricky thing...in my case, (recruit for another sport at H) I contacted the coach last summer, he immediately responded back since I don't think he was as busy then, he looked over my sports accomplishments, clearinghouse ratings, transcript and grades...thought i was a match to what he was looking for and we have been talking ever since

unfortunately if you are a senior right now, it's way too late to get recruited

i assume you are a junior, be patient wait for the coach, if you don't get a response back still, it's probably not too likely you will get recruited....

sorry i didn't mean for the last bit to sound harsh, just saying what I think
