Does Harvard give out t-shirts? I just got a package with a scarf, t-shirt, pens, and booklet, and it’s not from any friends or family that might buy this stuff for Christmas. I applied EA, and the decision comes out in a couple of days. Does this have anything to do with it?
That’s interesting. I haven’t gotten anything like this or heard about anything like this from anyone else.
Maybe they accidentally shipped you the second half of your acceptance letter early. 
As far as I know, Harvard does not give out T-shirts to new admits.
What does the booklet look like? Who mailed it and what day was it mailed?
My daughter got a tee shirt but it said Harvard and her class year so I doubt the box was from Harvard admissions.
Some schools do this but it would be surprising if Harvard did this. I doubt if they need to increase their yield. Maybe Harvard is trying to be more warm and fuzzy?

I figured it out, sorry to bother you guys. I had asked all friends and family if they’d sent it and they said no, but i guess my aunt said no because she wasn’t aware my uncle had actually bought it, then he called last night and informed us. So, that was unfortunate. Still, can’t believe my uncle bought six of the exact same pens, equally ugly. What a tourist.
My son received one from Harvard last year shortly after he was admitted—it had the class year on it.
