Harvard Track & Field Email Question

Hi everyone,

I submitted a track and field recruiting questionnaire form to Harvard a few weeks ago. Recently received an email regarding visiting Harvard to learn more about the school and the track program. I wanted to know whether or not they send this as a generic email to everyone or people they're actually interested in. I feel like it would take unnecessary time and money to visit the school if they didn't have any particular interest in me. So has anyone received this email before and know whether or not this expresses genuine interest? Thank you!

Call or email the coach and ask. If you are truly a qualified recruit they may offer you an official visit for Sept/Oct, assuming you’re a rising senior. If you’re younger, then I would wager this is one of the hundreds of friendly emails coaches send to encourage communication with future possible recruits. Post or PM me your stats and I’ll give you my opinion about whether you are a legit recruit for Harvard- both academic and athletic stats are relevant.

Thanks for your response! I’m a rising senior by the way.

I’ll be PMing you shortly.
