I would say that is a really really good sign
@packman012 I’m hesitant to jump to that conclusion but leaning towards it slightly. Some students at UC Berk received letters requesting additional information, specifically letters of recommendation, while I did not yet received acceptance.
@jesus0512 was this request sent recently by H, or are you just coming around to query the group now?
@Jbevarts It recently received it. Date: May 2 & responded same day. Also, interested if others on this thread receive the same thing or something similar.
@Jesus0512 wouldn’t be surprised if they were making some last minute decisions before releasing…
@dlp58sk8 I was admitted out of Highschool to H. Did not attend due to mother suffering a life-threatening disease. That was included in application.
@jesus05 @packman012 my last post, about others getting letters of recommendation, should have said…
“they were asked for letters of rec, but I was the one that was accepted and never received that request”
@Jbevarts right like it doesn’t mean you’re in, but what it does mean is you haven’t been rejected and they felt they needed more information to make a fair decision. i’d definitely say it’s a good thing, they’re seriously considering you!
did anyone here get an interview?
@gibby Yes I’ve seen that numerous times but i was just curious
Do you guys think we’ll get decisions in 30 minutes?
@2007BritneySpears based on prior trends, yes…but who knows
Anyone hear back I haven’t checked yet…
denied… shocker
1600 applied, 12 accepted…
Rejected…oh well
Officially a Harvard reject
hey at least we at least gave it a shot – rejected
I was deferred, waitlisted, rejected, & explicitly asked to apply for transfer just to be rejected again :-<
I have other options that I really like & I’ve had my doubts about how well I’d do at Harvard, but it feels kind of rude for them to have led me on for so long to just keep not taking me
