i think getting in warrants a personal thank you to the adcoms. let’s see if i’ll be offered the hand of god.

i would also be really passive aggressive about it when telling my arrogant lab partner, he thinks he’s the **** and mocks me and the rest my lab group=( indignant

If I get accepted, there will be a $50 Million dollar donation pledge over 10 years to Harvard’s School of Engineering, the day I get married.

The concept of getting in is so unfathomable that I truly don’t know what my reaction would be. I’d probably feel like a dog that somehow caught the car.

agreed. i would most definitely cry. i just got accepted to georgetown though (and their reply date was supposed to be june 1st), and my major is government. i’m getting excited about gtown so harvard had better send their decisions out soon!

god, 10-20 students. that means they’ll accept 20 max, and between 10-20 will end up attending. to the future students who end up being accepted: NICE.

If I get accepted I will simply say “see I told you” to all the people who think it’s impossible to get in. I will also celebrate with friends and get ready to spend the next two years in the best university. Good luck everyone!

Sweetestthing! Congrats with GTown

Just got into Cornell and Berkeley. I suppose I’ll live if I don’t get in.

but still, the allure of a harvard acceptance…

Hey guys,
I was on the collegeboard site to have some scores sent to a different school. There is a “my organizer” sidebar with a bunch of deadlines for various colleges that I at one point put on a list. Among these dates was “Harvard C: College notifies transfer students of financial aid (on or about this date)” on May 30. I don’t know where this date comes from, but I guess it’s another piece of evidence that we will indeed know before “early June”.

So, given the speculation of the 15th, we have one week left. If we have longer, well, let’s pray we don’t.

did anyone else confirm the 15th as a release date?

yup. its the 15th. dont even try to call them to ask if you can do an interview or send additional materials in. way too late i heard. someone said they already made decisions and just picked the 15th as a “well rounded” date to release them.

Beware the Ides of May!

I’m also very interested in the source. But still, we are getting very close here and it shouldn’t matter much, except to our overly-developed curiosities.

Again, in comparison with the 2006 or 2007 transfer thread, it seems it takes them exactly 14 days after May 1 to come out with decisions. Also, Yale, UPenn, and some other ivies are releasing decisions this week, so I think ivies like to release close-together.

Really, Harvardhop, really?? :p

According to Yale Transfer Thread, It seems some already got e-mails from YALE today 9am. I think I should make a call and ask when H is going to let us know
And Penn decisions would come out on Thursday, again according to Penn transfer thread
I hope we get to know the result asap because I’m planning to take a summer language course at my current institution and if i have this slim chance of getting in to H, I might not need to take the summer course…

columbia comes out on the 14th as well, so it appears this weekend i will be drinking a lot and be sad, or i will be drinking a lot and be deliriously happy.

hahaha exactly. too bad i have mono… no booze to soothe MY soul… and thanks harvardhop
