HARVARD TRANSFER Fall2010

Jakesurf: Yes =)

@harvardhop

woah
your stat rulz

Me too, I’m getting my associates this semester. Hopefully we’ll both get in and graduate at 19!

Congrats, Jakesurf. Just curious, do you go to a CC or a university?

Speaking of associate degrees, when I talked to someone about transfering to H on the phone, she mentioned that CC students need an Associate’s to transfer. This isn’t mentioned anywhere on the website. Does anyone know if this is true or not? She gave me an email to ask further but that was 3 months ago and they never responded…

Jakesurf:I will be Transfering as a Junior and will be 18 when I graduate, but yes! Let’s hope we both get in!

Len: I’m at a CC and I’m not sure about the associates thing.

Harvardhop: does that mean you’re 16 right now?

I’m at a community college, and I won’t be getting my associates degree. That better not be correct!

Since it’s not on the website, it shouldn’t be. I wanted to know if anyone else was told the same thing. :/

How do you send them an “update”

Umm… I am sure if you go to the Harvard College website, under admissions, you can get the approp phone number. Good luck!

Did any of you CC’rs apply via Postal Mail?

isnt it through e-mail that we can send updates?

I know that for Stanford you can Fax additional items, but I am pretty sure it’s the same for Harvard. However, you might want to email the admissions officers and ask.

Good luck to everyone who has applied to Harvard!!

Ok, So …
I called Harvard, there’s approx. 500+ applicants…
I asked them if they received my SAT2 scores and they said yes!!! When she looked at my stats she said I was a very competitive applicant!!
She also told me how to send updates! If anyone still doesn’t know…I can tell you…

How do you send updates?
Did you ask them when they will start reviewing the applications?

I suppose i was given incorrect information…though I swear that I was told roughly 300. Perhaps when I called all of the applications hadnt been downloaded from the universal app website?

Regardless, has anyone heard this rumor about a kid from Penn who has already heard that he has gotten in. His facebook status is “transferring to Harvard :(…”

nvm about the latter half of my post! he was playing an april’s fools joke apparently!

To Update:

Send an Email to: fileroom@FAS( IDK if it’s “all caps”).Harvard.edu

For the Subject: Update to Application

In the message start off with your name on the top followed by the name of your current school EX: Mike Lucas, Stanford University.

Good Luck!

Why would you send updates?

So, RD decisions have been sent to high school seniors…Would the number 10-20 for transfers this year change or stay the same? what do you guys think…
