Harvard Transfer Requirements

The Harvard website says:

Students preparing to apply as transfer candidates should take challenging liberal arts programs, including mathematics, science, and a foreign language, if they are not already proficient in these areas.

Does this mean that even if plan to major in IR/Government/Politics, I should take courses in Physics or Chemistry in college before applying for transfer?

I don't think so. I haven't taken foreign language courses in college yet and I spoke with an advisor who said that I could take the courses once I got to Harvard (if!). But, I think the fact that I took 3 years of French in high school fulfills the "transfer requirement" for now. As long as you took science in high school (which I'm sure you did) then I don't think it's a problem.

Umm...actually..I would strongly recommend taking at least one science course with lab.

I took no science and no math and got in

for shaganov you got in? congrats i'm sure you've been hearing that alot...what kinda "stats" did you have? my friend goes to the same CC as me and got waitlisted.
