Harvard Transfer (wannabes) Unite

Hey For Shag, did everything work out with Georgetown and financial aid? Or do you not know yet...

and the countdown begins! 10 days to go...

How do you know that it's 10 days, bumpitybump?

hmmm..cos don't they send their e-mail notifications on may 15? plus I heard they're rounding up on decisions and its just may 5th...so...it's prolly 10 days to go-

janel: look at the first post on this thread

word of advice guys, if you're lucky and ur spring semester grades are out and u did well this semester, u shud prolly send ur grades to harvard asap as during my interview, they specifically asked my interviewer to ask about my spring performance specifically- so send them if they're good-it can only work in your favor, I think?

i think it's more critical that freshmen (incoming sophomore transfers) do this...

precisely bnx86-

Yeah but that could just mean that they start mailing them on the 15th -- not sending out emails. Plus I'm not sure if I trust that. It seems a little early for Harvard. I applied last year, and I remember it being later on in the month. (Not like precedents can't be broken or anything).

bumpitybump: where do you go to school?

janel: i agree with you. i think the last two years they've released decisions a few days later...but who knows...

In that case, I retract my countdown statement-
I go to Ill. Wesleyan- I reall wish I cud be non-chalant about this whole admissions thangy and get on with my life- It's so nerve racking! One time I even caught myself dreaming of getting denied! Really how creepy is that!

Don't they send the e-mails as soon as they snail- mail the decisions?

I think the last year people started posting decisions on the 18.

didn't brian say he called the admissions office and they said the 15..

To everyone who applied for financial aid,

I don't believe that my fin. aid application is complete; my mom has yet to put in the non-custodial profile and some other stuff (she told me that she doesn't think I have a chance and she's not bothering with it unless I actually get in, ha). I haven't received any notice from them, however, telling me that I need to get in my forms. Could this point towards rejection? Has anyone been reminded to complete their financial aid application?

I have not been reminded either, but I am pretty sure they got my forms. They might be giving your financial package after the acceptance maybe?

my mom hasn't completed mine either...

10 chars>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Guys those of you who get in can you post your stats, and give me some advice on what i can do to have a good shot at harvard as a transfer next year. i am going to UCLA this year.

this is a link to my stats, be as brutal as you want, any advice is welcome, cuz its all gonna be worth it if/when i get in.

Wow. Great stats.
