To everyone who applied for financial aid,

I don't believe that my fin. aid application is complete; my mom has yet to put in the non-custodial profile and some other stuff (she told me that she doesn't think I have a chance and she's not bothering with it unless I actually get in, ha). I haven't received any notice from them, however, telling me that I need to get in my forms. Could this point towards rejection? Has anyone been reminded to complete their financial aid application?

Last year Princeton and Harvard did not notify me of missing forms despite the fact that I knew some financial aid forsm were missing.
I was rejected at both colleges. But probably doesn't mean anything.

in my case, when i applied to swarthmore, i was also missing some (if not all) of my fin.aid. forms, and i was thinking they must have rejected me since they haven't asked for them. but then i did get in and they just said in my acceptance packet that i said i wanted financial aid and to send it to them just then. it all worked out fine, so i definitely wouldn't assume they rejected you just because they haven't asked for the missing forms.
good luck!

i read your post in the yale thread bumpitybump, so i will change my question, can you guys who get in post your hooks, what made you stand out etc. thanks.

nope- was thinking of calling but I think it'll be futile- I guess they've prolly made most of their decisions by now tho- I think we shud all bombard the adm. office with fone calls by monday if we don't get e-mails monday morning-

I called transfer admissions around noon today. They did not answer (wwwooooaaaa!!!) so I suspect some shennanigans and tomfoolery therein. I need to find out early next week - I'm doing summer housing, financial aid, summer classes start, and I'm going NUTS!!!

is it possible to get rejected from yale and get accepted to harvard? My yale rejection has permanently thrown me into an insurmountable abyss of depression-----------------------(if that makes sense)
