last week i tried logging into the admitted students log in and it redirected to my portal now when i log in through the admitted students page it takes to to the harvard admissions page. anyone know what that means?

@Harvard2022maybe Thank you for your quick response. Harvard does not invite admitted students in April for a special campus visit like the other schools do? Do any of the Ivy’s do it?
Hey, anyone’s CSS IDOC portal showing Harvard as a ‘requesting institution’. For those who aren’t aware, there is a difference between ‘require’ and ‘request’ for CSS. Harvard requires IDOC but does not always ‘request’ your docs. If it does request your docs, it appears in the box which says ‘requesting institution’. Basically, require means they want your file in their cabinet. Request means they pulled it out to look at it.
When I log into the admitted students thing, I get redirected to Harvard Admissions Page and a message pops up that says “Admission decisions will be released tomorrow, Wednesday, March 28th, no earlier than 7PM ET. Check the Applicant Status Portal to view your admission decision.” Anyone else?
when i go to admitted link it says, “Welcome to your Harvard, Class of 2022” and some other welcome stuff. Does everyone see that?
@harper3125 did you log into your account? I think the page displays that message before logging in
@2022jx That is what I get. I never went in that way until someone posted the link today, so I can’t say if it is different than it was before.
@College4real Not sure what you are asking, but in my IDOC, Harvard is listed is listed in the top section under Institution Requesting Documents and all of the documents appear in the app portal.
@2022jx I recently got a notification from an elite about decisions being announced the following day, and a link took me to accepted students page saying ‘congrats’. I was waitlisted. After lots of evidence to the contrary, seems to be Seldom you will get an accurate early answer on your decision.
@College4real in case you are doing some investigative work, I have 7 listed in IDOC and I applied to 11 schools.
Of the 7 colleges listed: I was accepted to 3, waitlisted to 1, denied from 2, and still waiting for 2.
Of the 4 colleges not listed: I was accepted to 1, waitlisted to 2, and still waiting for 1.
Seems random.
@apdns19 , thanks for your input. Does seem random in your case. For me I was accepted to all idoc requests thus far, but some bigs have appeared on there and I’m not too confident of those 4tomorrow ! Haha
@apdns19 But are those 7 ‘requesting’ institutions?
@College4real I have 6 in my requesting institutions, none in required (says all required docs have been sent but no schools listed). Been accepted into 2 and waiting for 4 tomorrow :))
Honestly I just want this college admissions process to be finally over. Just one more day and I’m done!!
I said this somewhere else, but IDOC really doesn’t seem to be accurate. I only have two schools on my IDOC – one of which waitlisted me, and the other I haven’t heard back from yet (but which literally has its own extensive financial aid portal… hi, Penn!). I got into three schools so far that take CSS, and none of them are listed on IDOC. Plus, Brown’s portal shows they clearly have my info (and they emailed me asking for more to make an accurate package). I don’t think IDOC tells the whole story.
@anxiouswreck By Friday, I’ll be done. I honestly am tired. I can’t do this again. Grad school should just chill cause it’ll take me 4 years to finally be relieved of the stress I went through for my Undergrad Schools.
I’m so bummed out rn. Saw one of my decisions today and I regret it. It’s not even an Ivy and I didn’t get in! How then…you know what, Let’s just wait for tomorrow so for once, I can get some sleep.
But tbvh, I wish I was in your shoes and tomorrow was it.
@College4Real Yes, everything is under Requesting. In the Required section, it doesn’t have any schools listed and just like @bigchoices2018 it says all required docs have been sent.
@College4real this is really coming down to wire in terms of anxiety. Hover over litter help ? Mark next to “Institution Requesting Documents” and it states “IDOC using institutions that will receive the information that you provide”. So I won’t read too much into, BTW, we also have 1 wait listed in that list,JHU, and 1 accepted, Northwestern.
@College4real I have 50/50 so far admitted. Will know the results by the weekend
