Harvard University Class of 2022 RD Thread

Thanks to all you guys responding - seems like a wash. Fingers crossed 4all of you.

Well I have to add another extra line, UMich, Ga Tech CSS profile was submitted, got an acceptances to both but not listed in Requesting list.

@PPofEngrDr, That’s interesting- And did those schools request your tax returns or any other financial docs be sent directly to them prior to acceptance?

@College4real believe there was some direct email communication from fin aid folks, don’t remember everything as my son was taking care of it, bur my vague memory suggest me he had asked for some docs. Also waiting for few award letter so I won’t read too much into as fin aid dept works in parallel with admission so it can be either or situation.

IDOC portal means nothing. My EA school (rejected) is listed as a school requesting documents. Don’t read into it.

All I can say is its been a blast looking at the comments from the fellow stressed, tired, overachieving, ivy-applying students in here! I created this account just to say best of luck to all! Also to tell everyone here that a yes or no from one single college does not define the worth of the hard work and dedication that has been put in over the last 4 years. All that you have done in high school is far more meaningful than an acceptance. With that being said, those who plan to stress for the next 24 hours, get some rest and do something fun for yourself! No matter how many loopholes we all try to find, we ultimately do not have any control over the decision sitting in the admissions office right now. Good luck to everyone, and an early congrats to those who may see this who don’t yet know they are members of the Harvard class of 2022.
xoxo, a harvard hopeful

Did anyone write LOCI email after getting deferred and got a reply from the admissions office?
Just curious…

@reh2022 well said, that is why my son has planned to get driver’s license finally tomorrow.

In response to an earlier question–the Harvard admitted student weekend, called Visitas, will be Saturday April 21 through Monday, April 23, 2018.

What @reh2022 said^ we all did our very best and good luck to all =D>

So since Harvard had the high yield problem last year, how many people are going to be accepted this year approximately?

I’ve heard that the application numbers were somewhere like 43’000 so we can find out the rate

24 hour countdown!!! I am an absolute nervous wreck rn

so how is HUID doing?

oh god I can’t
applying from Tennessee!!!

I still have the exact same HUID stuff…did anyone’s somehow change a little bit?

still have mine too

Hey guys! Early Action applicant here. I just wanted to throw some good luck your way! I’m so excited to see that so many amazing students might be joining me on campus! Deep breaths! Good vibes! And remember, it’s not the college that makes success, it’s the student.

Pro-tip: Don’t listen to Legally Blonde in the next 24 hours. If you’re anything like me, you’ll cry!

@LondonVall Hey i’ve sen you on so many threads. just to clarify, were you admitted to harvard early?

@musicalitty Correct  and Yeah, I’ve been bouncing around about 12 threads for the past few months
