It seems like everyone is really stressed out right now. I hope everyone knows that they should be proud for being in a position to apply to Harvard. That says a lot about you. Harvard is a great school but there are a lot of great schools out there. Harvard is probably not gonna change your life in a major way that any other top-20 school in the USA couldn’t. Going to Harvard doesn’t make you superior or anything like that and no one really cares where you go to college. I’m trying to enjoy my school day and focus on my work and I’m actually feeling pretty relaxed. You guys should try to have a good time doing something else until 7pm. Good luck to you all!
@1stanbu1 That’s better than having your mom’s expectations so high tbh. And speaking of other apps, I’m gonna apply to 20 schools RD if I don’t make it into Harvard, and I have completed ZERO supplements for them. I already regret this.

I didn’t even realize that some people are so optimistic (relatively)… I applied to 23 schools without even thinking that Harvard might accept me lol

Harvard 2021 student here. I have vivid memories of last year’s stress and anxiety, but thinking back on it now, what’s best for you WILL happen, and by this point everyone’s status is known, so there’s no need to worry about what you cannot change. In case you get deferred, don’t think it’s over: I got deferred then accepted in March 2017, and so did many of my classmates! In case you’re rejected, it doesn’t mean anything about your worth or potential success. Some of my high school friends are attending less prestigious universities, and are still enjoying their experience and shining as much as anyone here is! If you get in, congrats and welcome!!!
