Is it bad if you turn in your CSS and IDOC after the deadline if you already turned in your FAFSA by the right time?
For admissions, no. For FA, this is what Harvard says:

okay @skieurope did you apply EA to Harvard this year?
@shehar17 the dude’s already in college
@lilyfullford It’s quite interesting that a program like your Project 351 has such a huge impact. From what I can tell from the website, it’s a leadership program for 8th graders. How many leaders does the program broom a year? 8 or 10? All of them can go to Harvard is amazing.
@qwerty66 I’m honestly not sure how that works. Going off of the Crimson article, it sounds like subcommittees are at least trying to identify whether an applicant qualifies for full financial aid, actually.
https://www.thecrimson.com/article/2018/10/29/how-to-get-in-to-harvard/
“First readers also verify labels and scores that identify applicants’ likelihood of qualifying for full financial aid.”
Yeah do project 351 is really interesting! You are an “ambassador” in eighth grade where you embark on a year long leadership and service summit. There are 351 ambassadors one from each city and town in Massachusetts! Then you are an alumni. There are about 5,000 alumni in total and about 100 are elected for various alumni programs to lead new ambassadors. I am a member of the most selective of these people programs with 22 members. I mentor each group of incoming eighth graders! We usually have about one per year from the Alumni Leadership Council! @Dataminer
Where is everyone from? I’m also from Massachusetts! @lilyfullford
@x2019x from all over!! I’m from the north shore though
Hi all, does anyone know when the subcommittees met and when the final committee meets?
@lilyfullford That’s a very good experience. I think Harvard will take you.
@dataminer thank you!! That’s the hope
@cmc1999 From previous posts, full committee will deliberate after Thanksgiving break.
what’s everyone’s biggest accomplishments
in terms of awards, ec’s (smt that you think will differentiate you from the crowd)
@pickitup Harvard book award and project 351
@lilyfullford OMG wow howd u get Harvard book award
@pickitup im in the top 15 high school mock trial attorneys in the world. Competed at the individual world championship as well, team has consistently won state and placed in the top 10 of the world championship
@pickitup literally no clue I’m not first in my class or anything but they gave it to me and I went to a special breakfast at the Harvard Club it was very nice and there was a lot of support.
Hi, everyone! Is anyone here applying from abroad? Do you know if there is a correlation between getting an alumni interview (in a country with Limited Interviews) and admissions?
I had a Skype interview with an alumnus from another country. Is that a good sign?
Good luck to everyone applying!
