Harvard University Transfer Thread Fall 2019

@sproutedchiapet i see you waited for your BF xD

lmao @Vexaeria I figured that if decisions were posted in the portal I would have to first get in and then click another link to see the result… and trusted (for some reason) I would resist clicking the link
I had someone post in another group that Columbia emailed people sometime this afternoon.
Brown suddenly got their transfer decisions yesterday, but their RUE hasn’t heard a word (in all years I’ve looked, RUE comes out a few days in advance of regular transfers).

I kind of feel like I’ve been anticipating this so long that I can’t really continue on with my life until I know. So I’m just constantly refreshing the page ?

INTERESTING. If I click the link at the bottom that’s supposed to lead to the withdrawal form it says 503 Error: This page is inactive.

I bet they were supposed to come out today…

this is AGONIZING

uh. maybe 6pm?

@Vexaeria how’s it looking for 6?

Also, I’ve had my geology lab in front of me to complete for like an hour now and haven’t gotten far bc I too, just feel like I can’t do much without knowing an answer is coming soon.

@sproutedchiapet It’s lookin’ like a whole lot of what I’ve already been staring at for the past hour

Do you guys get the 503 error if you click on the application withdrawal form? (It won’t somehow automatically withdraw you I swear)

Damn I really thought Harvard and Chicago were gonna come out today. And Brown yesterday at noon…so weird. Hopefully these places send it out over the weekend because I’ve got finals to study for.

I’m starting to think it may not be happening today… Yesterday, I got the Princeton email that decisions were coming out next week and looked at my portal and it slightly changed- anything optional I did not submit dropped off completely (such as mid term reports, b/c my teachers didn’t give out mid term grades this semester)… My financial aid portal also changed and updated. My optional lines on H are still there as pending and I’ve seen no other changes.

I am enjoying the wait.

I mean at least I can still say I haven’t been rejected by any colleges yet this year

Harvard twitter for class of 2023 tweeted -
Admissions decisions will be posted no earlier than 7pm EDT today, Thursday, March 28. Applicants can view their letters on the Applicant Status Portal. #Harvard2023

maybe it’s at 7PM.

I know this is a bit unorthodox but on Gossip Girl, Blair and Serena got their admissions decision over text from Yale. What I’m asking is, is it possible that decisions could be released any other way than an email in real life? lol

Idk I just wanna get my rejection so I can actually think about other colleges

i lied i really really really really wanna get in ?

I have actually come to a point where after I got rejected from Brown (which I thought I had a chance at), I am somewhat aware that I almost definitely won’t get in and I’ve come to terms with that. I just want to know so I can like solidify what my life will be like at my current university

I will as a side note just say that the ambiguity of the transfer applications and decisions is cruel compared to the standard application I went through last year. Like why is there no set date and time that everyone sticks to?
