Harvard University

Hey, I was just wondering whether I had a chance at Harvard University with a 3.5 GPA 5 math classes, 5 science classes, 5 english classes, 3 history classes and 3 years of spanish. Also ive been taking AP classes and i got a 4 on lang and comp test. I am taking classes at the community college as well as the high school so could i be even qualified for Harvard?? Also I got a 25 on my ACT but im going to shoot for at least a 30-32 next time. Thank You!!

In two words: Highly unlikely.

Harvard is extraordinarily selective and if you don’t have a hook (URM, first generation, etc.) your stats are well below what the average Harvard student has.

There are zillions of great universities not named Harvard that will accept you. :)

your class listing accurately conveys the caliber of your application :). good luck!

unfortunately it seems like your stats just don’t measure up to those of the people who are accepted to harvard. don’t apply there just because of the name; there are lots of other great schools out there that would love to have you, and you would probably be happier there anyway. good luck! :)

Quick answer: No, unfortunately :/

Highly unlikely unless you are a recruited athlete. If you can spare the 70 bucks or whatever then maybe apply for giggles and the 2% chance of getting in though.

No you don’t have a chance. I wouldn’t apply, you would just be wasting your time. Don’t worry though, there are so many underrated colleges that you would enjoy being at just as much as Harvard. If you posted a summary of your college app people on CC can recommend good math/low reach colleges for you to look at.

U wont get in

No chance…
