I am currently deciding between Harvard and Princeton. I feel that Harvard's location in Boston would provide strong internships and opportunities. However, I also think that since it has such close proximity to the city, that many students would often feel attracted to the city life and this could potentially detract from the community lifestyle and prevent Harvard from feeling like 'home.' Any thoughts on this?

There is so much going on in the town of Cambridge final clubs and over-21 bars), and on the Harvard campus, students sometimes do not veer off campus unless it is a House-sponsored formal in downtown Boston, or a long weekend.

Princeton’s social life is concentrated on The Street (Prospect) at the eating clubs, and smaller dorm gatherings.

Either school is going to provide you with multiple opportunities. Choose the school that feels most comfortable to you.
