<p>No one was calling Tufts conservative. I was using the term as a synonym for risk-averse in considering schools matches, reaches or safeties.</p>
<p>@pizzagirl, we know that you weren’t calling Tufts conservative :). We were referring to sakacar’s post “Tufts and BC tend to be IMHO pretty conservative.”</p>
<p>I may have gotten a rogue tour guide on last visit 
but generally I think that universities trend more conservative, especially with a strong fraternity element. Just my opinion, though, and I defer to puerile who know the school better. FWIW, my middle daughter is seriously considering Tufts, even though the eldest didn’t respond to it.</p>
