<p>I actually think you would be better off in Social Studies than in Government (I’m not comparing either with EPE since I don’t know anything about it). The Harvard Government Department is very large and that has an impact on advising and student satisfaction. Social Studies is very theoretical, it’s a very demanding (and prestigious) concentration, smaller, and with lots of support for students.</p>
<p>Visit each for 2-3 days, sit in on a ton of classes, eat meals, and decide for yourself. Both are good schools but there is a big, objective difference in the level of social vibrancy and student happiness between the two.</p>
