Harvard vs. Yale vs. Columbia..HELP!

Hey everyone! I just really need some help picking between these Ivy's. I realllllly want to go to an IVY, and I'm applying to all of them besides Cornell, with the addition of Boston College (every Ivy Leaguer's back-up)!

When I visited Harvard, I really liked the elite feeling. I have to admit, I LOVE thinking that I'm better than everybody else. And I definitely got that feeling at Harvard. The campus was beautiful, and the city of Boston was magnificent.

I also really liked Yale. Although I do not feel the academic rigor of Yale's curriculum is challenging, at all.

Columbia provides a unique opportunity to show my true colors and wear black every day, and smoke cigarettes 24/7. I definitely got the inner city vibe at Columbia, and I can't wait to hook up with the Barnard gals.

So hear are my stats, SO CHANCE ME PLZ! XOXOXO

Gender: Prefer not to disclose :P
State: North Dakota
ACT: 26 super-scored
SAT: 1820
Subject Tests: 600 - Math II 620 - Spanish 680 - French w/ listening!
GPA: 3.82
Major: Political Science, Economics
EC's: President of the Gay Straight Alliance, FCCLA, President of Students Against Teen Pregnancy
Hooks: My state, duh. Plus, I'm just different than everybody else that applies. I wrote my Common App essay about when it gets really cold here.

Thanks for the help! Please guide me to which college to choose for when I get in!

Not to burst your bubble, but you should probably just stick with Boston U. Or just apply to Cornell because it’s the easiest ivy to get into. Don’t underestimate how hard it is to get into HYP, especially with your credentials.

You be trollin’.

Are you sure you aren’t a Student Council Leader too from South Dakota with a ACT of 27.

I don’t want to rain on your parade, but I am an alumni interviewer for one of the Ivy schools, and haven’t had anyone with SAT scores in your range get in. Nothing wrong with applying to all of the Ivy schools, but you need some solid safeties, and Boston College is not guaranteed to you by any means.

North Dakota is a plus, but I wouldn’t bank on that.

You gotta pay the ■■■■■ toll to get into this boy’s hole…

Not going to lie, that sounds really awkward.

FYI, the ‘when it gets really cold here’ essay has been done to death.

My dear shiggins2011, being delusional does not qualify.

Oh I know… ;)
