<p>Help! I am completely torn between the two. I have been admitted to both, and will be visiting both of the campuses next week. I have always dreamed about going to Harvard, but as of lately I have been doing my research and have heard that Yale focuses more on their undergraduate students. Also, I have heard that Yale has a more lax and social environment.
Can someone please give me some feedback?</p>

<p>^ Descartesz- I thought you were joking the OP by listing “thread titles” but I see you did a nice job searching the forum!</p>
<p>StephanieG - There is absolutely no substitute for attending Bulldog Days and the Veritas programs so kudos to you for setting that up. These threads mean little when you will have the chance to experience the respective campuses on those admitted student days. I know that students I have spoken with felt strongly that one was the right choice after those visits. Be open to matriculate to the one you like best after those visits next week and don’t look back.</p>
<p>I think the differences between the two schools is best summed up by their mottos. Harvard seems only to care about Truth, while Yale cares about Light, too. As a result, you get a little more for your money at Yale.</p>
<p>You’ll see when you attend the respective admit days. Have fun!</p>
<p>I think the names of the admitted student days hints a bit about the differing cultures. But go, see which you like best, and if you still can’t decide, flip a coin.</p>

<p>As a current Harvard student, I recommend you pick Yale. A lot of people at Harvard are cutthroat (personal experience -_-) and have a superiority complex about them. I’ve heard few if any stories about Yale being like that, rather Yalies really do seem to get along better. I’m actually planning on transferring out of Harvard to Stanford, but I’m also going to apply to Yale; we’ll see how it goes. And by the way congrats on getting an acceptance on both, thats quite the accomplishment!</p>
<p>This is a hard choice but I would have to choose harvard over yale. I would personaly go to either but ould rather Harvard for its medical school.</p>
