Harvard Wait list

Just for fun, what schools are you remaining waitlistees planning to attend as of now?

I'll be attending Cornell University, if the Harvard waitlist doesn't work out.

duke university

duke!!! 10char

Duke for me too. I know that MallomarCookie is also Duke.

Have any other internationals heard anything? Because I haven't, and I'm wondering if it's just the long delay in overseas mail, or if I'm still on the waitlist. Hmm...
And I agree, closure would be nice. (Deferred SCEA --> Waitlisted RD.)

Has anyone been in contact with the admissions office recently? Any new info?

Got the rejection letter in the mail today (dated June 4th--I'm really close to Boston). Guess my GC getting a call wasn't a good sign after all--though it's nice to think that I made it this far. :) Thank God for it being overwith now--I'm more than thrilled about Williams anyways XDD

Good luck to those of you waiting! Hope you don't get the thin envelope in the mail within the next few days.

Aw sphairistic...I was rooting for you! It's OK, though, now that you're 100% an Eph, I get to root against you, 24/7/365! :P

See you 'round Mass...

i was about to say sorry, sphairistic, but then I saw you're going to williams...that's so awesome, congrats!

soo they didn't even bother to ask for my grades. lol. ill be waiting by the mail this week to get it over with.

Haha, thanks guys. And, ewwww, Amherst. Boooooo.

I've already started practicing for that particular rivalry with one of my friends, who, unfortunately, will be a Lord Jeff next year.

But yeah, it's nice to be able to get properly excited for Williams now (I'm still waiting on Wharton too, but that one wasn't looming over me as much as Harvard was). Plus, I feel like if I'd gotten into Harvard, I would've gone there for the wrong reasons--and to those of you headed to Duke, HAVE FUN! It's such an amazingly awesome place-I had the hardest time in the world turning them down for Williams.

Yeah bad choice :D

Got my rejection letter yesterday. oh well.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HOYA SAXA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

finally rejected!

Alas, I bit the dust as well. Corne'11, here I come!

BTW, I'm pretty sure Cornell's Hockey team is going to beat Harvard's. :P

Rejection letter arrived here in California today...closure at last.

finally got my rejection! yayy, now i can stop thinking about "what if" lol.
off to johns hopkins university. HOO-RAHH!!!!

did anyone here besides me get in?

I still haven't heard anything from Harvard at all.

anyone know anything about the z-list?

Two weeks to decide if I want to be on the Harvard Z-list. Was planning to go to Brown. Thoughts????

washington123, I was Z-listed (had to turn down Penn) and it changed my life. you can PM me, but I say go for it all the way. There is so much you can learn from a year off, and if you were still waiting, I assume that you wanted Harvard. The year is definitely worth the wait, and its an awesome year in anticipation of Harvard. I am currently on the final 3 months of my gap year, and every day I think about how lucky I am to have been forced to make such a decision.
