Harvard wants another interview...good/bad?

oh my god...100? is it a private or a public school? only 3 people from my Seattle public school are applying to H, and one changed her mind in january so she declined an interview. wow, how many people from your school usually get in every year?

wow, lol this year only one person applied to harvard out of over 200 people...me

Lemme guess, Boston Latin?

It's a public exam school, the "original" feeder to Harvard, because technically Harvard was founded for us (we're 1635, H is 1636). Usually between 20 and 30 people get in.

aka Boston Latin :P

Of course. I must have taken a long time to send that last message, because I didn't see d3!ty's correct "guess."

"Try interviewing yourself several times in front of a mirror."

Btw, I didn't mean mugging up a script and talking to a mirror. You know, you can look into the mirror, make eye to eye contact with your image, notice your body language and gestures, etc. and feel good about yourself.

I also had a second interview.

About 8 or so students applied from my school and in mid-February, Harvard called our counselor and asked for the transcripts of just 3 of us. And then I got a call for the second interview.

I'm positive that my second interview went well. It makes me hopeful!

Hmm, interesting.

Ok, I live in California, and my counselor got a phone call from Harvard. She said Harvard asked some questions about me. NO SECOND interview from me. I am a little perlexed. What does this mean?
