Sorry for the confusion about the waitlist. I meant that I am going to add people myself if not enough people post the info. It did not mean that we will add waitlist people.

The question you asked is truly difficult to answer. But you can start by telling yours to get it started. My son got in Yale SCEA but going to Stanford, while he is still on Harvard’s waitlist. I believe that if you get cross-admitted by at least two of HYPSM, none of them should feel shameful to accept you. It is your personal choice to choose them. I don’t how many cross-admitted are there. Maybe about 2000+ based on that Yale, Stanford and MIT still have SCEA. We have been collecting about 30 so far, and it could be a reflection of the over all picture.

MIT’s EA is not single choice, just saying. Though I did hear from MIT as my first school… I was quiteee attached before I even applied to any schools.

pepople base this stuff not just on like academics- its the city, the location (CA or CT or wherever), top sports (stanford), d3 (MIT), campus etc. so many factors not just whether they are strong in math or not

This is the major and final update. I will not draw any conclusions and leave to the people who think they can use it, even though I can speculate many. Many thanks to those list above.

P.S. The data might be a little biased towards MIT since I could not find enough info.
