Harvard, Yale, Stanford Chances

Graduating in three years from UCLA.

Business Economics major.

GPA: 3.96

LSAT: 176

ECs: Internships at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Merrill Lynch, and Park Lane Investments, Executive Board - Business Society, President of school's largest social fraternity, Pre-law club, dean's honor list, etc..

Recs: Great

What would you say my chances are at HLS, Yale, and Stanford? Thanks.

Lock at HLS. I would be surprised by a rejection at Stanford. As for Yale, I still say more likely than not, but who can ever say?

Again, it all depends on how schools see the three years thing. I’ve seen kids with a few points less (e.g. 172) get turned down across the T14 for no other apparent reason.

I think you have very good chances at all of them. Afterall, it is a numbers game and looking at it, you have them.

hmm…bus society…with all those internships from those firms I would guess you are either in akpsi or dsp. lol

There is a significant gap between 172 and 176 so I would not equate it to “a few points less.” If you take a look at graphs there is a big difference in acceptances once the threshold of 174 is broken, with a 176 I would expect the op to get in to H/S, and Y is probably a 50/50.

Yeah, but the 172s didn’t just get rejected at HYS. They got rejected across the T14. No surprises with a 3.8/172 getting rejected from Harvard, but across the spectrum?
