I recently applied to the schools stated above. I was just curious if anyone can give me a REAL answer as to whether these students party or not. Please someone who went there or knows of someone that goes there would be helpful!!!!! I am really smart, but I also like to have fun so that's why I am asking. I don't want to be bored to death in college:) Thanks!

Havent you watched Social Network? Harvard gets their party on! LOL

Lol yes I have I love that movie!! Idk whenever I thibk of these schools the nerd sterotype comes into play. Althought if I get accepted idc if there all nerds …im going lmao:)

I see you’re from Chicago.
Well I attend the University of Chicago, and I can assure you that in spite of our “nerdy” and “socially awkward” stereotypes, we do in fact party. Hard.

I can’t imagine it would be much different at Harvard or Yale or Stanford.

It may be different being at an LAC (or a similar atmosphere such as at UChicago), but we maintain both the nerd and party stereotypes.

If you want to party 7 nights a week at Yale, you can find places to go. It’s tamer than, say, Arizona State, for sure, but people definitely go out on the weekends. Some friends who’ve transferred here from bigger party schools actually remark on how “democratic” the party scene is here – even lots of legit nerds party.

Awesome!!! Thank you so much for you guys help:)

Not to be a dick, but Chicago doesn’t party hard. At all. (I’ve visited.) Neither do Harvard or Yale. Stanford, on the other hand, is decent.

They aren’t MIT…

they all party if you know where to go…i love people who are like “lol nerds dont party”…cus they couldnt be mroe wrong… well kept secrets ftw

Mit is close to harvard tho isnt it ? So I could go there instead lol
