In terms of summer activity, I have taken part in selective academic camps, however I couldn’t do much else because I play in a very high level of rugby which takes up 85% of my summer.

I understand that I don’t have a good chance at the Ivys however I still wanted to know what you guys thought.
Hey, thanks for replying to my thread.
Not sure how marks translate to American GPA. The fact that your school only offers two APs and you took both and did very well is great…and your test scores are excellent. Your ECs don’t seem very Harvard-esque to me. Most of the schools you listed like too see a lot of leadership positions, especially something like class or student body president.
I can comment on your chances for Berkeley, UCLA, and Stanford (I live in California). You have an upward trend from your freshman year to your senior year which is definitely something UCs LOVE to see. Your SAT score is above average for both Berkeley and UCLA. In my opinion you are a high match/low reach for both of those schools. Stanford is probably going to be a bit of a stretch.
Couple Things I would like to add:
All 4 years of Honors (Award given to top 10%)
Awards:
2 Math Subject Awards (Grade 10, 12)
2 Literature Subject Awards (Grade 11, 12)
2 Business Subject Awards (Grade 11, 12)
2 Social Sciences Subject Awards (Grade 11, 12)
Yale: mid reach
Wharton (Penn): low reach
Stanford: high reach
Sloan (MIT): high reach
Brown: low reach
UCLA: match
Duke: mid reach
Stern (NYU): low reach
Berkeley: low reach
Cornell: mid reach
Ross (Mich): low reach
Your test scores are amazing, and the upward trend definitely stands out but the schools you’re applying to have thousands of kids with perfect GPAs and what differentiates them from the others is their ECs, I do hope that you’ve applied to some safeties too? UCLA is a match but then too, it cannot be said for sure. Best of luck, mate.
@digitallyshrewd I do have some safeties but I don’t want to get them chanced. Hey I’m new to college confidential so help me out here. Is this right? High Match - Match - Low Match - Low Reach - Reach - High Reach? Thanks, and best of luck to you mate.

Apart from the rugby, nothing especially jumps out at me. You’re pretty much at the 40-50th percentile in ivy league applicants. Doesn’t mean you don’t have a chance of course though. Good luck!

Most of these chances would be alot more in your favor if your ec’s were more in depth. However you have a great academic profile. I hope you get into your top choice, good luck! chance back?
